Services We Offer
Child AdvocacyOur nationally certified child advocacy center seeks to provide the best care possible for victims of child sexual assault. Our multi-disciplinary team combines advocacy, law enforcement, DSS, mental health, and medical professionals in order to provide the most comprehensive care for our clients, all while providing a child friendly environment.

Rape CrisisOur rape crisis department provides multiple services to child and adult victims. They provide coverage for a 24 hour rape crisis hotline, 24 hour advocate accompaniment for assault victims who present at local hospitals, and law enforcement accompaniment for clients, as well as other advocacy services.

Adult TherapyOur adult therapy program begins with a six week introductory program that provides clients with coping mechanisms and prepares them for further sessions. We then provide clients with the opportunity to participate in group or individual therapy, as well as providing access to various treatments including EMDR.

Education Programs |
The Julie Valentine Center provides several programs to parents and guardians. Classes can be court mandated or attended by choice and cover a variety topics. An assessment may be required before enrollment, to determine which class would provide the best fit for each client.

Our education programs are for elementary, middle, high school and after school students of Greenville County. Programs cover topics such as safe touching for elementary, sexual harassment for middle, and sexual violence prevention for high school. We also offer classes for adults on recognizing and reporting child abuse, our agency, and mandated reporting.
