It is only through the generosity and commitment of the community that we can provide our programs and services. The Julie Valentine Center is proud to be a United Way partner and the recipient of funds from VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), VOCA (Victims of Crime Act), DHEC (Department of Health and Environmental Control), Children’s Trust Fund, National Children’s Alliance, Duke Endowment, Community Foundation of Greenville County, BiLo Charities, Hollingsworth Foundation, and Beach Ball Foundation. These funds enable us to employ top professionals and provide a facility for our programs.
Below you will find a wish list of continuous and immediate needs at the Julie Valentine Center. Whatever your means, JVC offers several ways in which you can invest in our programs:
- Donate Items
Donations don’t have to be in the form of money! Please visit our Agency Wish List to see the items that we’re currently in need of.
- Donate With Confidence
At JVC, we recognize that you, as the investor, need to feel confident that your dollars are being applied directly to the needs of our neighbors. JVC is proud to be listed on Guidestar Charity Check. Guidestar’s mission is to “create a more transparent and accountable nonprofit community,” and it serves as a “resource that would connect people and organizations with valuable information to improve the world around them.” JVC’s financial information is listed here.
